EGG FRIED RICE RECIPE-2

EGG FRIED RICE RECIPE-2

Ingredients
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 4 eggs, beaten well
  • 1 onion, chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup boiled peas
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped french beans, boiled
  • 1/4 cup carrots, chopped and boiled
  • 1" ginger, grounded
  • 4 garlic flakes, grounded
  • 3 green chillies, chopped finely
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt as per taste
  • chopped coriander leaves for
  • garnishing
  • 1 tsp soy sauce (optional)
Method
Heat oil in a pan. Fry onion till golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies, simmer for a minute.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and simmer for 2 minute.
Add the beaten eggs and stir continuously till well set (for about 5 min).
Add chopped and boiled vegetables and stir for 2 minutes.
Add Salt and garam masala. Add cooked rice and mix it well.
If soy sauce needed add it and stir once again. Cover the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes
Garnish with coriander leaves. The egg fried rice recipe is ready to serve hot...nice !

Mama Choo Cha's Egg Fried Rice


Ingredients:

* 1 egg
* 2 teaspoons Asian sesame oil
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 3 cups leftover cooked rice (200 g, 7 ounces dry weight before cooking)
* 100 grams/4 ounces frozen peas (defrosted)
* 4 spring onions (green onions), finely chopped
* 100 grams/4 ounces bean sprouts
* 1 to 2 teaspoons soy sauce
* Ground white pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Beat the egg and sesame oil in a small bowl.
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan. When the oil is shimmering and almost smoking add the rice and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes, until completely heated through.
3. Add the peas, spring onion and bean sprouts. Stir-fry for about 3 minutes, turning the rice constantly.
4. Season well with soy sauce and pepper, then push to one side of the pan. Pour the beaten egg on the other side of the pan and leave for about 10 seconds to set.
6. Using a chopstick, stir around the egg to break it up and then toss around with the rice. Stir-fry for a further minute and the egg fried rice recipe is ready to serve.....Nice one ! Enjoy !

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 200g/7oz long-grain rice (uncooked weight), cooked and left to go cold
  • 100g/4oz frozen peas, defrosted (rinse under warm water to do this quickly)
  • 4 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 100g/4oz bean sprouts (optional)
  • 1-2 tsp soy sauce
  • ground white pepper

Egg-fried rice 1 ...another great egg fried rice recipe to try !

Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

FRIED RICE WITH HAM, EGGS AND PEAS

EGGS FRIED RICE WITH HAM, AND PEAS

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • 3 c. cooked rice, cold
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. frozen peas, thawed or celery
  • 1/2 c. cooked ham, diced
  • 1/2 c. onions, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in skillet, pour in eggs. As eggs set, push cooked portion aside so remainder cooks. Do not scramble. When eggs are set, put them into a bowl and tear into large shreds. Heat 1 tablespoon oil to medium heat. Add rice and stir until hot. Add salt, peas or celery and ham. Stir fry for 2 minutes. Add shredded eggs and onions and stir. The egg fried rice recipe is ready to serve hot....hmm..nice taste !

FRIED RICE WITH HAM AND EGGS

FRIED RICE WITH HAM AND EGGS ....a nice egg fried rice recipe to try !

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 tbsp. peanut or corn oil
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 scallions or 1 onion
  • 3 c. cold boiled rice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. boiled ham, diced
  • 1/4 c. cooked carrots, diced
  • 1/4 c. cooked peas

INSTRUCTIONS
Optional. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in fry pan; beat eggs lightly and scramble in hot oil. Do not add milk or water to eggs. Remove eggs from pan. Cut scallions (white and green parts) into 1/4 inch pieces.
Heat 3 tablespoons oil over a high heat in the fry pan, and scallions (or onion). Stir, add rice and salt, carrots, peas, ham and stir well. Add scrambled eggs broken up in small pieces and well mixed in.The egg fried rice recipe with ham is ready to serve 4 persons. Enjoy the rice !

BACON AND EGG FRIED RICE

BACON AND EGG FRIED RICE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. rice
  • 6 pieces bacon
  • 3 or 4 eggs
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp. catsup
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce

INSTRUCTIONS
Bring water to a boil and add rice. Cook for 30 minutes. While rice is cooking, fry bacon. Save 1/2 of grease. Scramble eggs in bowl, add garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Add 2 tablespoons water to eggs and mix well. Fry egg mixture like a pancake. Fry rice, add chopped onion, chopped bacon and catsup. Cut up egg omelet and add rice. Stir in soy sauce. Serve hot. Add hot sauce, if desired. The egg fried rice recipe is ready to serve..enjoy it !
